Powers: Through speech and touch, she can influence people to give her anything she wants, no matter what. She tries to do it without speaking but it's hard for her. She's also much stronger then the average woman ( which is what she is, after all ) and she is a bit stronger then the average man.

Family: Her father died when she was 10 years old (14 years ago) but her mother is still alive and is 46 years old. She was married and had a baby boy before, but both are dead now. ( See Background for more information )

Pet: A beautiful, pure black female blood hound named Beauty who's very protective of her, and doesn't really like anyone.

Weakness: The normal human things but she never really get's sick but fatal wounds will kill her, of course. Her mother and her dog as well as friends and other loved ones

Abilities: She's an expert cook and she's very good with gun's and can shoot with 86.7% accuracy. She can make anything taste good, basically, with her cooking and she makes all of her own food and grows the ingredents and when she can't, she buys them fresh or get's them from her neighbor's. She can express herself fully through dancing, and it has a very powerful effect on people, especually when she's feeling a very strong emotion(usually sadness).

Personality: Generally, she's a happy woman and she's also always been sweet, kind, thoughtful, careing, and modest. She's not shy, though, or naive. She'll be blunt and tell you how it is and she won't sugar coat it and she expects the same from people who know her. She seems to think that making it easier is lying, but she's like her father in that respect.  She's a smart, well educated woman, witty, and wise beyond her years. Street and school smart. There is a down side to her, though, because she always carrys the air of sadness with her, or bitter sweetness. Sometimes it just clings to her, other's it doesn't. However, if you can't sense it or see it on her face, you'll always see it in her eyes, behind every other emotion she's expressing. And general fear too. She's careful with what she says, because of her powers. She's a bit afraid of her powers, to be honest, and she doesn't try to use them. She's learned the hard lesson's of life..things she shouldn't have had to learn until she was older, or maybe not at all.

Common Attire: She wears t-shirts and shorts or jeans when it's hot or cold (respecively), and she's very rarely ever in skirts or dresses and hardly wears make up or high heels. However, she's not adverse to looking good, she just doesn't feel that she needs to dress up to do so.

Background: Her mother and father met at church when they were in their late teens and it was love at first sight. Her mother had been a beautiful woman and her father had been a handsom young man. They began dating and fell in love and they married just a year later. Her mother had several miscarrages before having Melody, but she didn't seem sad for the miscarrages and she knew exactly what to name her, because Melody suited her. Her mother, Lanny, is a phycic and her mother had been but Melody got something different. Instead of the future, she got Suggestion and Strength. Strange though it was, her mother and father didn't mind at all. In any case, her life was normal, minus the powers, until her 10th birthday. Her father had a heart attack as her party was winding down. He died the next day as they were trying to help his heart beat normally. He flat lined July 7th. Melody never celebraited her birthday after that. So, she grew up and slowly got over her father's death, but always, always missing him, and then, she met Eric. Melody was 17 and Eric was 20. They started to date and a year later, Melody was pregnant. They quickly married and they were happy, becuase they loved each other...but it wasn't meant to be. Nine months later, November 3ed, was probably the most unhappy day of Melody's life, except for July 7th. Eric was driving Melody to the hospital as she was going to have the baby and they were in a car crash. Eric died instantly but Melody and the baby, Henry Michael, did not. They were air lifted to the county hospital and they were put into emergency surgery and the doctors had to decide on who was to live. They determined that the baby had only a 20% chance of living outside of the womb and so, they brought the child out and saved Melody. The baby lived, though, for 13 days. Melody held him as he died in her arms. She didn't do anything during the next year, she just sat around her apartment, but then her mother stepped in and got her back up to par. Melody, as it turns out, had been a very talented dancer and so, over the next four years, she concentraited on that, and souly on that. By the fifth year that her husband and baby were gone, she'd moved out of their apartment and into her own small home that had a large garage that she converted into a dance studio for herself to use and the back yard was for growing things, wonderful things, and so, she began her life anew. It's now been six years and she's moved on little by little but things still hurt. She's gotten a lot of money from preforming from dancing and from her part time job but also as well as from her husbands life ensurance and her enheritence from her father.
